Matilda Cusumano DMD, MS PLLC

Dr. Cusumano is a prosthodontist and maxillofacial prosthodontist. She is also a qualified Dentist by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

She focuses on multidisciplinary, patient centered care to improve quality of life for patients with missing or deficient teeth and/or oral and maxillofacial tissues in the head and neck area.

Dr. Cusumano’s interests include digital and advanced technology, modern ceramics/materials and dental implant rehabilitations in a team approach. She has been recognized with several international awards for her contributions to the practice, science and education in prosthodontics.
She is the primary author of several landmark articles on innovative, multidisciplinary care that brings together medicine, dentistry, digital and advanced technology to improve treatment outcomes and the patient experience. She provides continuing education courses for dental professionals on topics of ceramics, digital technology and oral care management for cancer patients.

Dr. Cusumano has been appointed to serve on the Joint Commission on National Dental Examination of the American Dental Association as a test construction committee member. She is an editorial board member for the Journal of Prosthodontics, and a reviewer for several international journals including Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, Journal of Advanced Prosthodontics and Journal of American Dental Association.
